Grand canyon
Grand Canyon National Park is truly amazing standing at 277 river miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and a mile deep. Over 5 million people visit the Grand Canyon each year, most view its beauty from the South Rim while keeping their eye on the Northern rim which lies only 10 miles away. The view from the North Rim is quite awesome itself and completely different. The rim standing on the south is upwards 7,000 feet in elevation and the north is over that at 8,000.
If you are one of the 5 million top viewers or actually lucky enough to get a permit to travel down inside the canyon you will not be disappointed. Due to the elevation however, please take that into consideration when traveling to the Grand Canyon. Drink plenty of water and for those who have heart conditions please take into consideration your health if you are normally located at sea level.
If you have never been or have not seen any footage of the canyon you will want to put it on you ‘bucket list’. Take a few minutes to look at the photos we’ve taken and see why experiencing the Grand Canyon is a trip of a life time. Here you will find the links to all the years we've gone, note, each year tries to capture footage that the other years don't, hopefully not too many repeats.
